On December 15, 2001 TRF Movie Classics Theater presented the Christmas Special screening of 'The Sound of Music'. The show was 'sold out' and many viewers showed up in theme costumes, some of them as characters portrayed in the movie. Everybody was in a 'gay' mood. Subtitles to the songs made it easy for the audience to sing along and some viewers could not restrain themselves from 'Schunkeln' when the 'Edelweis' song enlightened the audience.

During the intermission Julklap Christmas presents were exchanged and quite a few people went home with tasteless junk. During the entire evening Santa Claus was present and accepted wish lists and complaints. He went home to the north pole with a gigantic task list. It is not known to the TRF management weather all wishes expressed to Santa this evening did come true on Christmas. We will have a survey at our next movie events.

Now check out the following pics and see for yourself what 'The Sound of Music' can do to people.
